The Fernox Total Filter TF1 (UK patent pending 0806091.5) is a revolutionary in-line filter, which combines hydrocyclonic action with specially designed magnet assemblies, to remove both magnetic and non-magnetic contaminants from system water and contain safely within the filter. The Fernox Total Filter TF1 can be connected directly onto 22mm pipe work using the valve fittings provided. The unit can be installed horizontally or vertically and has been conveniently designed to be installed flush to a wall in existing pipe work.

Always used Magnacleans but recently started fitting the Fernox ones which seem much better. Easy to fit and really easy to clean - dont have to take lid off so no more leaky lids. Definitely recommend.

Just got one of these looks much better than the Magnaclean as fittings are better. But installation instructions are poor! Needs more info on best place to fit!

Have to laugh at the JohnBoy's post about it being plastic, Ive been using plastic speedfit, and plastic Magnacleans for years without a problem. I fitted one of these last week when my local merchant went out of stock of Magnclean. Damn site easier to fit, looked more up to the job and I was pleasantly suprised at how much non magnetic stuff that had been floating around the system which I flushed out into a drip tray and showed the customer much to their horror!
