Product Uses
Fernox LS-X is a silicone paste used as an external leak sealer and jointing compound.

Application and Dosage
When sealing leaks, relieve the water pressure before applying and whilst LS-X is setting, draining system if necessary. Apply LS-X direct form the tube and mould into shape using a spatula or knife previously dipped into soapy water (to prevent adhesion or dragging). Replace cap immediately after use. Allow a minimum of 1 hour to set. Time required depends on thickness applied. Spraying with water speeds curing.
LS-X may be used as a jointing compound on hot and cold water services, including potable water, in place of traditional materials. Reinforcement is generally not required, but Hawk Special fibre may be used on larger pipe sizes.
The use of reinforcement is advisable for larger leaks and high pressures.
Packaging, Handling and Storage
Fernox LS-X is supplied in 50 ml tubes.
Fernox LS-X is classified as irritant. Irritating to eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin. Use only in well ventilated areas. We recommend the use of gloves with this product, as it may cause skin irritation.
