Vented Hot Water Copper Cylinders. In most properties hot water is heated and stored in a Copper Cylinder situated within the airing cupboard. Cold water is fed to the base of the cylinder from the cold water storage tank housed within the loft. There are two different methods of heating the water in a vented hot water cylinder, either directly (usually by an electric immersion heater) or indirectly by a heat exchanger connected to the Central Heating System. BHL supply a wide range of vented hot water cylinders online from leading manufacturers including Range and Albion.
