Harlequin launches latest oil storage tank range

Harlequin will unveil its latest range of biodiesel storage and dispensing tanks this week.

The leading storage tank manufacturer is set for the launch at the Biodiesel Expo in Nottinghamshire, Europe's biggest biodiesel exhibition, on October 17th and 18th.

Explaining that biodiesel is a specialist fuel needing specialist containment, John Switzer, Harlequin's sales and marketing manager, said he wanted to give customers "complete peace of mind and reassurance."

"The new BioFuel Station range has been developed specifically for the safe, secure and environmentally responsible storage of biodiesel grades of up to B100," he commented.

Prototype BioFuel Stations were previewed at the recent Irish National Ploughing Championships where they received an enthusiastic response.

Available in Standard and Arctic versions, larger-capacity models will allow oil storage tank owners to take control and minimise the risk of fuel theft and fraud, with warning alarms fitted on all 5,000 litre and 10,000 litre models.

One popular product currently manufactured by Harlequin is the firm's 10,000 Bunded Fuel Station. The company recently revealed plans to fit its single skin and bunded oil storage tanks with dipsticks.
