Saniflo 'provides a solution' for London school
A school in south-west London has installed five Saniflo units to meet the vertical discharge requirements from its kitchen appliances and toilets.
L'Ecole Bilingue, a French-English school in the Kensington & Chelsea borough of the capital, has had pumping units fitted which will discharge waste and water from sanitaryware and kitchen equipment, according to the manufacturer.
Due to the school being located in the crypt of Victorian St Jude's Church, facilities for the children were hard to find - but Saniflo suggests that it found the answer.
The manufacturer's units will release up to 5 metres vertically or 100 metres horizontally, or a lesser combination of both, it states.
The London school uses both English and French teaching methods to help its pupils learn a second language in a "natural way".
It is a mixed-gender school for schoolchildren between the ages of two and six, and there are ten qualified teachers on its books.
