Prince Charles' property 'has biomass boiler'

A property owned by Prince Charles falls in line with his green credentials, thanks to its biomass boiler, it has been reported.

According to the Daily Mail, Restormel Manor in Cornwall relies on the wood chip-burning boiler to power its central heating and heat its water supply.

Furthermore, the property's electricity supply is also generated through renewable sources.

The manor also includes a number of luxury features, including a games room and outdoor play area, swimming pool, tennis court, nine bedrooms, three sitting rooms and even a boot room.

Over the Christmas period, Kate Middleton - the girlfriend of Prince William - and her family are reported by the news provider to have stayed in the property.

It was recently revealed Prince Charles is considering having solar panels fitted to the roof of his London property Clarence House, as long as the renewable energy technology does not detract from the appearance of the 180-year-old mansion.
